ONLINE CATHOLIC COUNSELOR | HOUSTON & ACROSS TX
We were never meant to do all of this alone.
Therapy to help you navigate the intersection of your faith in Christ and your mental & emotional wellness.
Sometimes faith and the struggles of life seem to clash.
Maybe you’re carrying anxiety, grief, or depression, and the faith and purpose that once gave you direction now feels tangled with stress and questions. If you’re in ministry, you might feel stretched thin by the constant needs of others or discouraged by difficult dynamics with leaders or parishioners—leaving you wondering how to manage all this and still feel close to God.
You could be trying to follow your calling but feel held back by past wounds, family struggles, or mental health concerns. As you prepare for marriage or work on your current relationship, the impact of family patterns, past relationships, or unwanted behaviors is starting to create a sense of doubt, even as you try to move forward with integrity and faith.
For some, it’s financial or physical challenges that bring a sense of distance from faith. You may feel like you’re hanging on to something slipping away, uncertain if your Christian values and belief in God can still be a source of comfort when what you’re going through is so much harder than you expected. Or maybe you feel caught up in a rigid view of faith, where perfectionism makes it hard to experience the love and grace you’re seeking.
Here, you don’t need to have it all figured out.
Being a “good Christian” doesn’t mean being perfect.
MY APPROACH
Everyone I work with has their own faith journey, and I deeply respect that. You are welcome here, no matter what.
I offer faith-based therapy to support people facing the complex challenges of faith, family, work, and life because I’ve seen how difficult it can be to navigate these intertwined areas alone. With a background of over 25 years of working with ministries and master’s-level theology studies, I’m here to help clients integrate their faith in Christ with therapeutic approaches for true healing and growth.
For those who desire it, I bring together scripture, Church teachings, and research-based methods to help you grieve with hope, find peace, and explore faith even during challenging times.
You’re always free to question, feel anger, and face moments of doubt, knowing that faith can remain a foundation rather than a source of guilt or confusion. Together we’ll explore ways to manage grief, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, supporting you to find comfort and resilience in your own spiritual path.
I don’t assume a religious perspective unless you request it. If faith-based approaches aren’t relevant or feel difficult, we’ll work together through practical, evidence-based models that support your personal healing.

FAQs
-
Absolutely. You don’t have to be actively practicing or have a firm stance on your beliefs for this therapy to be helpful. Even if you're exploring what your beliefs look like today, I’m here to support you in understanding and connecting with any experiences or feelings related to your Christian upbringing.
Not all of the therapy I offer is faith-based, so it can be tailored to be meaningful and supportive, regardless of your current relationship with spirituality. If incorporating faith elements is important to you, we can weave in practices that feel safe and aligned with your values, keeping things flexible and however feels right to you.
