ONLINE ANXIETY COUNSELING | HOUSTON & ACROSS TX

Develop skills, embrace self-acceptance, & find true wellness.

Therapy for anxiety, depression, & self-doubt.

These days, it’s so much easier to just be alone.

You know there are no perfect people, but that doesn’t change the pressure you feel to somehow still be perfect yourself. It’s hard to view who you are in a positive light, and the critic inside your head often tells you that maybe there wasn’t really anything good or worthwhile to begin with. These negative thoughts can be incredibly distracting—sometimes it feels like your own life is passing by while you watch from the sidelines.

If you’re trying to enter into a new phase of life—attending college, a relationship, your career—but anxiety and depression are standing in your way, it might feel like you can’t make a clear decision about your future at all.

Maybe life looks like…

Feeling like you need to be almost perfect to consider yourself “good enough

Battling depression that makes it hard to see your worth or get through the day

Withdrawing from others because you’re so worried about what they will think of you

Judging yourself harshly for not meeting rigid standards

Feeling unsure about your relationships, knowing they’re unhealthy but struggling to leave

Struggling with anxiety that distracts you at work or in relationships

Stuck or frozen when it comes to making big career decisions

Feeling down about a lack of support from family or struggling to make new friends

Your feelings are valid, even if others can't see the battles you're facing.

One of the most difficult things about anxiety and depression is they show up when life is already challenging. No wonder it’s hard to move forward when the voice inside your head doesn’t feel on your side, your mind feels fuzzy, or overwhelming feelings cloud your judgment.

MY APPROACH

When we begin our work together, my focus will be on addressing how anxiety and depression are showing up in your daily life.

I want to understand the specific ways these feelings impact your day-to-day experiences—whether it’s leaving you feeling overwhelmed, affecting your relationships, or making it hard to enjoy the things you once loved. We'll explore the thoughts that keep you stuck and the emotions that feel too much to carry alone.

I’m not here to judge you. You can feel safe sharing your feelings and challenges knowing I’m on your team.

We’ll focus on practical coping skills from CBT and DBT, like grounding techniques and breathing exercises to help you manage distress. You’ll learn to challenge anxious thoughts, develop assertive communication skills for healthier relationships, and explore what a healthy connection looks like for you. We’ll also consider your family background and work on building balance across the physical, relational, emotional, and spiritual aspects of your life.

As we progress, we’ll identify what’s been holding you back and explore new perspectives and ways to approach your feelings. I recognize that every person’s experience with anxiety and depression is different, so I’ll regularly check in on how things are going for you. Whether you choose to meet weekly or bi-weekly, there’s no “right or wrong way” to approach this. What matters the most is that you begin to recognize all the good you offer and gain confidence in how you show up to your relationships, your work, and your life.

Start seeing yourself with kindness and find the calm you've been missing.
